As we put I-2117 in the rear-view mirror, it’s time to accelerate our transition to a clean energy economy. Join us for our 7th Annual Future of Carbon Policy Forum on January 7th from 3pm-8pm at the Muckleshoot Casino Resort in Auburn.
This year, the Forum will feature panel discussions about medium and heavy-duty zero-emission vehicles and WSDOT’s upcoming purchase and infrastructure incentive program; show how local companies are going nuclear to source zero-carbon electricity; and have state legislators in what will be a lively discussion about what is in store for 2025. We will also announce the winner of the coveted David and Patricia Giuliani Clean Energy Entrepreneur Award!
As a bonus this year, we’ve arranged for you to “Test the Torque” of either your or a provided electric vehicle at Pacific Raceways. You’ll have the opportunity to take three laps around Pacific Raceways’ historic 2.25-mile road course in a lead/follow format that will allow you to experience what motor racing legends such as Mario Andretti, Ken Miles, and Mark Donohue experienced when the track was a must-stop for sports car and open wheel racing on the West Coast. Pacific Raceways road course is a Sports Car Club of America sanctioned track with over 200 instruction dates, track days and competition events a year. Cost is $30, space is limited and will take place immediately preceding the Forum.
Sponsorships are still available for the Forum and include a complimentary registration — and those $5000 and up will receive a priority registration for the Pacific Raceways racing. Please contact Sarah Severn (sarah@cleanprosperousinstitute.org) if you’re interested in joining our other sponsors.
Registration will close by December 18th so rev up those engines and register now!
